The first announcement and call for papers

The 28^th international process engineering congress - Processing 2015, is organized by SMEITS (The Serbian Union of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers)  and Technicians and its Society for Process Engineering. The first Processing was held in 1970  and it has had a tradition and continuity of gathering  mechanical engineers as well as engineers from the fields of technology, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mining engineering etc.

The field of process engineering is studied as a course at the Belgrade Faculty of Mechanical Engineering  and other faculties of mechanical engineering in Serbia - in Niš, Kragujevac and  Novi Sad.

Mechanical engineers specialized in process engineering work in all branches of industry -  in energy sector, mining sector, public utility companies (water supply and thermal power supply companies), etc.

The main objectives of the congress are innovations and expansion of knowledge in process engineering and provision of support to researchers in presenting  the accomplishments of their research projects.

The thematic fields of the Processing include the basic process operations - mechanical, hydro-mechanical, thermal, diffusion, chemical and biochemical operations, as well as process plants and equipment (apparatus and machines).

Processing 2015 programme comprises the following themes:

• Design and development of processes and  plants of process industry and other industries; 
• Construction of machines, apparatus and equipment; 
• Preparation (planning) and management of construction and installation of industrial plants;
• Industrial and laboratory measurements; 
• Testing and attesting of materials, products, machines and apparatus;
• Research and development of new equipment and industrial systems.

This two-day congress will be held in Inđija, small town only 40 km from Belgrade and 35 km from the Belgrade Airport.

Design of processing plants; construction of processing plants; putting into operation (commissioning); automatic control systems; operation (exploitation) and maintenance of processing plants; IT applications.

4. Design, manufacture, testing and installation of processing equipment

Design of processing equipment; welding; manufacture and installation of processing equipment; nondestructive testing; function and safety testing

5. Environmental Engineering and sustainable development 

Environment protection, work environment protection, efficient (rational) use of energy, renewable energy sources

6. Fundamental operations, apparatus and machines in processing industry

Thermal, diffusion, mechanical, hydromechanical, biochemical and chemical operations; apparatus and machines; ancillary operations and equipment (transport, storing, packaging, etc.).

7. Drying and dryers

Drying processes and plants in agriculture, wood processing, food industry, civil engineering, solid fuel preparation

Call for Sponsors

Processing 2015 has one general (lead)  patron, but it may have several general sponsors and sponsors. The Congress Organizer invites all interested companies to become sponsors of Processing 2015 and to enter into sponsorship contracts as soon as possible, in order to be enabled to pay the sponsorship fee in monthly installments. 

Sponsors will have the following rights:

1. The name of the sponsor's company (institution) and its logo will be printed at a noticeable place in the final programme and congress invitation.
2. The name of the company i.e. its 50 x 50 cm logo will be placed in the central area of the hall during the congress.
3. The sponsor's name or logo, as well as its colour advertisement on one page in the Proceedings and the journal "Procesna tehnika" (Process Engineering).  
4. At the exhibition within the congress, the sponsor will be entitled to use, free of charge, an arranged exhibition area.
5. Three professionals from the sponsor's company  will be entitled to the participation in the congress free of charge.
6. The sponsor will be given 10 minutes to present to the congress attendees its work programme or new products. The topic of that presentation will be included in the printed congress programme. The sponsor's presentation will be published on the CD, which will the integral part of the congress material.
7. The sponsor will be entitled to distribute to the congress attendees  prospectuses, catalogues and other professional and  information material.

Panel discussion

Within the Processing 2015, the panel discussion will be about applications of compressed natural gas, inflamable gases mixing, cogenerative plants... 

Important dates and deadlines

• The proposed topic and summary (abstract) should be submitted to the Organizer by April 3, 2015. 
• Authors will receive a notification on acceptance of the topic of their papers and on the form in which the full legth papers should be prepared by April 10, 2015.
• The papers written on the accepted topic must be submitted to the Organizer by May 8, 2015. the latest.

Important notes

The paper application should include:

1. Title of the proposed topic;
2. The list of authors with general contact data;
3. A summary (abstract) with maximum 1000 characters. 

The authors whose topics will be accepted will receive the instruction for the preparation of the full-length paper and instruction for its presentation.

All congress attendees will receive a certificate on congress attendance.

The  congress attendees will receive the Proceedings with paper abstracts and a CD with complete congress material, which will have its ISBN number.

• The complete  congress programme (the second congress announcement), with the participation application, will be distributed by the Organizer on May 15, 2015.
