The first announcement and call for papers

The jubilee 30th International congress on process industry will be held on Thursday and Friday, 1st and 2nd June 2017, in the Sava Centre in Belgrade, and it will be organised by the Society for Process Engineering of the Serbian Union of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Technicians (SMEITS).

Since the first Seminar on process industry equipment, which was held in December 1969, almost a half of a century has passed. Such a long tradition and jubilee 30th congress certainly confirm the significance of this congress for education and gathering of process engineers, whose support and participation contribute to the congress significance. Therefore we are inviting all engineers of process engineering and related fields to participate in the work of the jubilee 30th Processing as authors, sponsors or as attendees only. We hope that the congress jubilee would be a sufficient motive for more authors of high quality papers, congress programme patrons and sponsors than in previous years. Our intention to gather as many participants as possible is one of the reasons why the Scientific and Technical Committee, the Organizing Committee and the Congress Organizer have decided to organise the congress in Belgrade this year. We believe that Belgrade will be the most convenient for the majority of the congress attendees. All information on the 30th Processing will be regularly published on the Organizer's website and sent in regular and special electronic newsletters.

This year again the congress will be included in the Training Programme of Permanent Professional Development of the members of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers. Considering the experience from the previous congresses, we expect that the versatile topics will attract even higher number of licensed engineers.
